If you want to feel like a stunning beauty on your wedding day, Krista is your girl. Not only was a previous boudoir session with her the validation that I needed this lady to make me feel beautiful for wedding day, but her work for my bridal portraits just made me so giddy for my wedding day!! She listens to what you want, things you don't like, things you want to change, and she does everything possible to make sure you feel beautiful. My wedding day getting ready was full of love, laughter, jokes, and smiles and that is all credit to Krista and Kelsie, my hair girl, because they made sure everyone in my bridal party including my mom, felt beautiful! Krista stayed a little later than her contract because I was a BALLING MESS of tears before the ceremony and she remained calm and loving to remind me she was there to help me out and dry my tears. Krista felt like family the entire wedding day and she is an absolute friend for life. She will make sure you feel your absolute best and nothing less. I could go on and on with nothing but great things to say about her, but her work speaks for itself. She loves what she does and it shows! I knew I had to act fast! She truly loves her art and I think that adds to her skill set! I had booked her for a trial, boudoir, bridals and obviously day of and each time back in the chair was the absolute best. During my trial she explained all the products she was using and let me play around with my look. It helped having the extra “events” to tweak little things before the big day! I don't even know where to start. Krista is hands down THE BEST make up artist. I have never felt more beautiful in my life than the day she did my makeup. Not only because of the makeup, but Krista just makes you feel beautiful with or without makeup. Not only is she amazing at makeup, she is just so much fun to hang out with. She is hilarious, sweet, and felt like my hype woman all day. She got me so pumped for my day and made me feel amazing about myself. There was one thing that she did that really stood out to me and made me feel like more than just a client. She texted me at the beginning of the week to wish me a happy wedding week and she also texted me the night before the wedding to wish me a happy wedding eve and check on me to see how I was doing. It's something so small but so important because you know she truly cares about her brides. I absolutely love her and I would 10000000% recommend her for your wedding day. There is no one better. Another thing I really liked about her was when I did my make up trial with her, she really took her time to go through everything she was doing and what she was using. She explained why certain things would work better with my skin type than others and she walked me through everything she was putting on my face. As someone who doesn't wear makeup, this was really important to me. She really paid attention to the look I was going for and exceeded my expectations at the trial and the day of. All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful and so did my mom. Krista is amazing!! The few days after my wedding some of my bridesmaids and I were already missing the glam squad! This woman is SOOOoooo talented and such a delight to have around on your big day! She makes you feel like a rockstar, beauty queen, keeper of the stars, princess… and it goes on and on. She is the TOP in her field by far and most every wedding professional knows who she is! If your thinking about booking her.. Book EARLY because she books up fast. She will go out of her way to make sure that you feel SUPER confident on your special day. I told her that I have an allergy around my eyes to certain products and she went out of her way to be sure there would be no flare ups on my special day! I felt GORGEOUS! One thing that stands out about Krista is that she TRULY cares about her brides. While my coordinator was busy getting the bridal party lined up I found myself in the bridal suit with fun wedding butterflies (the normal happy ones) and if not for Krista I would have been all alone in that room! I’ve never felt more beautiful! I’ve followed Krista on Instagram for many years and always knew I wanted her apart of my big day. As soon as my husband proposed I reached out to Krista to book a trial. The trial was SO fun. She not only made me feel stunning but also gave me so many great wedding planning and vendor tips, as I was just starting the wedding planning process. She was always available to answer questions and made the morning of my wedding fabulous. She did my mom, grandma, sister-in-law and maid of honor’s makeup as well as my bridal look. She made everyone feel comfortable and like a million bucks. I have never felt more beautiful. However, the best part about Krista is that she was SO much more than a makeup artist that day. She helped us stay on schedule, encouraged me and calmed me down when I got nervous. She is honestly the best of the best. While my makeup was done at 10 am in the morning, I looked in the mirror at 1 am the next day and it was still flawless. 15 hours, lots of crying, sweating and dancing later and it was still perfection. “There are no words that would even come close to doing this woman the justice she deserves. Krista is an absolute dream to work with, her knowledge of different skin types and different styles of make up truly set her apart from other artists. I typically do not wear a lot of make up and I often times feel like it looks unnatural when I do have my make up done. I showed Krista one picture of what I wanted and she talked through everything she did with me and helped me to adjust it to make it more my style. Let me just say if you don’t think you need or want lashes, you’re wrong. I have only ever used the glue on strips and was not very excited about the idea of having them for my wedding, but Krista does individual lashes that you cannot even feel, they take your look that extra step! Don’t even get me started on the airbrush, if I could have her come to my house every day and do my make up I would. Airbrush is AMAZING! However, I think the overall best part of working with Krista was her personality and her ability to keep me calm and truly make me feel like a goddess at the end.
